Tables tend to fill up quickly on weekend mornings during the summer. You will want someone in your party to arrive early to put your name on the list.

There is a beautiful park just across the way from the restaurant. This is a great place to allow kids to run while waiting for you turn in line.

During the summer there is also live music with local legend, Ted Newman. This occurs every Saturday and Sunday, 9am-1pm, during the months of June - August. Be sure to bring a few dollars to request a song and thank him with a tip. I would recommend "Take Me Home Country Road" by John Denver!

Fun place for to play pool or watch sports games over a few drinks and appetizers. Kitchen staff tends to have a high turnover so food can be hit or miss at times, but when they get it right the Spicy Blue Moose Dip is my favorite with a cold beer!​

Karaoke most every Friday night and they usually try to have Live Music every Saturday night. This place can be a lot of fun when it fills up!

I absolutely love their menu so it will be hard to keep this short. The Bubbling Spuds are my favorite item on the menu, but the Guiness and Smoked Gouda Soup is a close second. If you happen to make it is on a Friday or Saturday, the McDonough's Fish Fry is fantastic, as well. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu.

There's just something about this place that takes me back to being 8 years old and going out to breakfast with my grandma. She would let me "fix up" her coffee, and I just loved getting it "perfect" for her. This place is back home simplicity at its finest. If you can appreciate this, it is the place for you!​

Does not accept reservations, so if you have to wait, I'd recommend just taking a stroll down the streets of Woodland Park. The views of Pikes Peak are just incredible.

This has been one of my favorite cafe's to frequent over the past 20 years. The atmosphere is a must to experience. My personal favorite purchases are the Iced Green Mate Tea with half Green Tea and Half Mango Tea. It is just the right amount of sweetness, and the Mate Tea is so good for our bodies. There are days I will actually get an extra for later. The sandwiches are incredible, and do not disappoint. The simple Egg and Cheese Sandwich is one I actually got my parents hooked on. Also, the Spring Chicken Sandwich is another one of my all-time favorites. They are quite large, so you may want to consider splitting with a friend unless your appetite tells you otherwise!
